This exclusive preparatory programme provides students with a bridge between a local K2 school year (ending in December) and our grade 1 start date in August. 

 

For students whose birthdays fall outside of the international school admission dates, this is a perfect option. Not only will they receive a full personalised programme in maths and literacy, students will also receive a great foundation in inquiry learning and IPC Milepost 1. 

 

The Gateway provides students with a cohort of friends who are at the same age and developmental level. Without this programme parents are often faced with the challenge of either repeating a year or having the anxiety of being the youngest in their year-group. At RISS, we are fully aware of the challenges and the negative impact this can bring, and so have prepared this amazing course for your children. 

 

Our Gateway programme will run from January to June. This programme is specifically designed for students that finish Kindergarten in December and students who are homeschooled. We aim to bridge the gap so that students can seamlessly enter Grade 1 at any international school for an August start.
